Kidnapping Americans in Nuevo Laredo - Mexico
I do not know if I can write yet another story on America s false perceptions of Mexico and the constant America media spotlighting of the criminal events that do occur here. I ve written so many and then swear that I will not write another single story on this issue. But, you ve got to hear this one.
The wife and I ran into an expatriate friend from Arkansas that had just learned his brothers, a doctor and lawyer, turned his name over to the American Embassy in Mexico City as missing and possibly kidnapped. Through a series of bizarre events, his brothers, both highly educated men, believed the American news media hype in reporting on

What do you do when your Nation has Questionable Neighbors?
Currently we have political issues with our Southern Neighbor of Mexico as the country is telling people to come over the borders illegally and send money back home. Meanwhile this strategy has worked good for Mexico with an incredible economic growth rate. But it has not been so good for the United States.
You see 80 hospitals have closed in California alone and 38% of the criminals in Arizona s prisons are illegal aliens. The Federal Prisons in the US are a 33% illegal aliens now. Also we have a huge drug and gang problem with the notorious MS-13 Gangs too. Now illegal aliens are marching in our streets with demands for legal status and benefits?

Drugs Coming from Mexico at an Alarming Rate
Police and Sheriff’s Departments across America are making inroads to closing down Meth Labs. Most sheriff’s departments have closed 100-400 meth labs over the last year, thanks to hard work and sharing data and what works with other departments. Most of the Meth is still made inside the United States, but as police get better catching the bad guys, unfortunately the gap in supply is being replaced from across the border in Mexico.
How bad is it? Well, some say it is a huge problem and if you think about it you also have to consider if the drug dealers can get meth across in huge amounts like that then obviously the International Terrorists can get Weapons of Mass

Drug Tourists and Tourism in Mexico
The Mexican Government is going to legalize drugs in their nation; even the really bad ones, but why you ask? Well for many reasons for instance they have a huge drug problem and the government see some excellent tax revenue as their nation s economy continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Most of which is coming from the United States as illegal aliens send money back home and we build corporations there and employ so many Mexicans. But there is even more to this drug story.
You see, Mexico wants to capture tourist dollars and drug tourism in places like Amsterdam is big business and Mexico wants some too. In fact many druggie Americans will indeed go to

Understanding Mexican Culture - Part 4
Regionalism
In chapter 25, I asked the question: Why would someone from Chihuahua City speak so disdainfully about the people of Guanajuato? Actually, from our trip through Mexico in the Spring of 2007, I could be asking that question of several of the cities and states we visited and of the people we talked to in those places. I recall one conversation with a cab driver in San Luis Potosi who called Guanajuato, and this is hard to say, the dirtiest place his family had ever visited. Amazingly, in this man’s first visit to Guanajuato with his extended family, they were so offended that they haven’t been back to Guanajuato since.
